Hasegawa 1/72nd WWII German 88mm Gun Flak 18

Comments: This is another of the 1/72nd Hesegawa models that I picked up of a collection of another modeller, being sold at the local hobby shop. This is the exact box art work that I found on the internet (as opposed to scanning my box art). All the other box art I found were very close to the boxes I purchased except this one which is exact. I believe that this and the other models are from late 70's or early 80's. I'm planning to use this a an 88 being used at Kursk. After some investigating, I believe that this early version of the 88 my not of been at kursk, but I'm not positive and anyway I'm not that anal, so I'm going plan on 88 at kursk being fired while still on wheels.

Hat 1/72nd WWII German PAK40 Anti-Tank Gun

Comments: Another winning kit from Hat. Can't have too many anti tank guns. I wish Hat or Armourfast would make a Soviet counter part.

Hat 1/72nd WWII German 7.5cm IG 18 Gun

Comments: Hat & Armourfast are basically the same thing. I do not know the company's history, but I do like their philosophy of more for cheaper with a fast build. I really like the presentation of the box art on their gun series. Yes the detail of the model is not that great, but for someone trying to figure out painting techniques, more is much better. Right now my painting technique is far better than my building & gluing techniques, and that is not saying much. My gluing issues are so pathetic, that I'm concerned for myself, and that is why I love these rubbery snap together Kits. Stop sniffing the glue gang!

Orion 1/72nd WWII Soviet Tankmen & Crew (Summer Dress) 1943-1945

Comments: If I ever lost faith in what I have been doing (i don't know what i'm doing), than this 1/72nd figure set put me back on track, in the pursuit of my quest (1/72nd windmills?). This set hits dead center on my collecting parameters. What not to love about this kit, Killer box art, Tank operators with sub-machine guns, the hubris of figure with roses, & shooting your way out of a tank hatch option. The options are intriguing. Sure the flash sucks, but at least the figures are worth the trouble. Get your Aryan/Slavic Armour Hatefest On!

Orion 1/72nd WWII Soviet Tankmen and Crew (Winter Dress) 1943-1945

Comments: When I saw this set on the 1/72nd shelf of the hobby shop, I snapped it up right away. Even though it is out of my collecting parameters. That said, a couple figures could pass at Kursk (may need conversion?), some others could pass in Fall or Spring time line, however my surplus of Russian Winter Troops is ever growing. There is a storm building for a winter confrontation were the dish is served sub-zero.

Pegasus 1/72nd WWII German Mortar Teams (Granatwerfer)

Comments:This was one of the first 1/72 figure sets that I purchases in my current metamorphosis. I painted it once in panzer grey without primer, then stripped it only to Prime them in white (which I wished I had never done). well I've have about two years into these figures & sometimes I think of just buying a new set & starting over. This is such a nice kit & I hope I do it justice

Zvezda 1/72nd WWII German 105 Howitzer with Crew

Comments: This is just about the only painted German equipment (Other than Tiger tank from the 90's) I have at this time. it was done in Panzer gray. Done with out any painting trick, but it's not too bad for early attempt.

Comments: This is one of the few completed kits I have. Done in dark green as all my first generation  WWII Russians. It looks good for early attempt.
